The Call for Papers is now open for the International Conference "Textiles and War in Europe and the Mediterranean from Prehistory to Late Antiquity", to be held in Bucharest in May '23.

During a week, Muro Leccese (IT) became the capital of Ancient Fashion in a double feature EuroWeb event locally organized by WG4 Leader Francesco Meo.

In May, Muro Leccese (IT) will host EuroWeb's Ancient Fashion Week, a double feature combining a Training School and an International Conference. The full programme is now available!

WG4 welcomes EuroWeb members and other researchers to submit their proposals for the International Conference "Textile Production, Consumption and Trade in Iron Age Europe", to be held at Muro Leccese (IT) in May.

PhD Students and Early Career Scholars are invited to apply for a Training School on "Embroidery: Terminologies and Practices from Antiquity to Early Modern Times" in Muro Leccese (IT) between the 16th and the 18th of May 2022.

Working Group 4 hosts an interdisciplinary online conference focusing on the comparison of the scales, contexts and modes of organization of textile production across time, from Prehistory to the Pre-Industrial Period.
