VIII Purpureae Vestes International Symposium – programme now available!
The full programme of the VIII Purpureae Vestes International Symposium, Tradition and Innovation in Textile Production in the Ancient Mediterranean World and Beyond, is now available.
This meeting is organized by EuroWeb members Stella Spantidaki, Christina Margariti and Alina Iancu, with the support of ARTEX, the Directorate of Conservation of Ancient and Modern Monuments of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and, of course, of EuroWeb itself.
Many EuroWeb members, as well as many other researchers working on ancient textiles, will meet in Athens, at the New Benaki Museum – PIREOS 138 between the 19th and 21st of October to share their work and debate a range of different topics relating to the textile cultures of the Ancient Mediterranean and other areas of the ancient world.
