EuroWeb's Working Group 2 - Clothing Identities: gender, age and status is happy to announce its first conference, between the 4th and the 6th of May 2021. The programme for the Conference is now available.

Between the 27th and the 30th of April the University of Lille will be hosting an International Conference on "Smart Textiles from Antiquity to Modern Times" co-organized by EuroWeb member Audrey Gouy.

EuroWeb members Mary Harlow, Cecile Michel and Louise Quillien present their recent edited volume "Textiles and Gender in Antiquity. From the Orient to the Mediterranean" in this new instalment of the "EuroWeb Book Corner".

EuroWeb members come together in an online Open Day to exchange views on the Action's first year and to build ideas for the next steps of the network.

Working Group 4 hosts an interdisciplinary online conference focusing on the comparison of the scales, contexts and modes of organization of textile production across time, from Prehistory to the Pre-Industrial Period.

EuroWeb's Working Group on Textile Terminologies hosts a workshop with conferences by Gale Owen-Crocker and Kalliope Sarri.
