Online survey on national textile networks in EuroWeb countries and the future of international networks beyond EuroWeb
EuroWeb members are invited to take part in the online survey on national textile networks in EuroWeb countries and the future of international networks beyond EuroWeb.
This survey was set-up by EuroWeb members Irina Petroviciu (RO) and Margarita Gleba (IT) to evaluate the existing categories of experts in textile research, working in the EuroWeb countries and beyond.
It is hoped that this survey will reveal the diversity of approaches in textile studies and encourage these experts to work together, in multidisciplinary teams, at national and international levels. The survey also aims to unveil the existing successful networks to be used as models for future collaborations.
Moreover, as EuroWeb is entering in its final year, the survey intends to evaluate the enthusiasm to unite forces with diverse textile research groups and institutions that exist across Europe and beyond, for the transition of EuroWeb into a flexible but somewhat permanent network.
This survey will be an important tool to map the future of the textile field and to build up the legacy of the EuroWeb COST Action. Members are therefore urged to participate, and to disseminate this call as widely as possible.
The deadline for submitting replies is September 3rd, 2023.
